From 1 July 2022, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) will be dissolved, and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) will take over the responsibility for NHS functions and budgets. We will become part of NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB. You can continue to use this website to find the information you need, which remains relevant for the Hull area.

Active Humber

Why has Active Humber joined Working Voices?
"At Active Humber we are passionate about healthy active lifestyles. We work with our partners to encourage as many people as possible to become active, to unlock the health benefits being a little fitter brings. That means we need to ensure our team look after their own health too.  Working Voices helps us to work with the CCG and provide our team with an opportunity to discuss matters around health when and if they want to. It is important that everyone has support and the workplace is a great place to start.

We are well placed to support staff with advice and connect our team up to physical activity and sporting opportunities, but there are other areas of support which, being part of Working Voices can provide.  The team will also be able to put their views forward on health matters which is a significant added benefit. All in all we are very excited to be part of Working Voices."

About Active Humber
Active Humber is a County Sports Partnership which works with over 300 organisations in the Humber. Their mission is to encourage the community to be more physically active. Active Humber are a charitable organisation so all profits are channelled back into their work, which enables them to do other things, such as training, development and mentoring support.

The group work with Sport England, Big Lottery and other funding organisations to draw much needed investment into the Humber. They also work with partners to build networks to reduce duplication and increase opportunities to be more active. Locally Active Humber work with large organisations such as the Local Authorities and the NHS, but also with community clubs and professional sports foundations to unlock the power of sport and the benefits it can bring to all of us.
