From 1 July 2022, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) will be dissolved, and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) will take over the responsibility for NHS functions and budgets. We will become part of NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB. You can continue to use this website to find the information you need, which remains relevant for the Hull area.

Six community groups have joined the Hull 2020 Champions project in a bid to help Hull to be a happier and healthier city.

As Champions, the projects share NHS messages and promote healthy lifestyles while supporting their communities. The projects work with people of all ages, genders, identities, races and nationalities.

The Warren’s Shout Group offers support and a friendly space for young people who are gay, bi-sexual, lesbian, transgender, questioning, pansexual, non-gendered, bi-gender and intersex.
Victoria House is a large home in the Victoria Dock area of Hull. They care for people living with complex disabilities or brain injuries.
The Hull Resettlement Project provides temporary housing for young homeless people and supports them back into work and regular housing.
Lonsdale is a well-established community centre based in the Anlaby area of West Hull. They offer a broad range of educational and recreational activities to the local community.
Humber All Nations Alliance, known as HANA, is an organisation providing services to people from minority ethnic backgrounds. Its community groups represent most of the ethnic, cultural and faith diversity in the Hull and Humber region.
HEY Transcendence is a group which works to positively change all aspects of transgender life. They support Trans people in a number of ways and help to educate local services about transgender issues.
The Hull 2020 Champions project is the brain child of NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). By supporting its Champions with training, connections to funding, promotion and networking, the CCG can help these groups to grow and improve the lives of more people.

NHS Hull CCG is pleased to welcome the new Champions.
