Local NHS organisations in the Humber area are inviting parents who experienced mental health issues during or just after pregnancy to share their views on the area’s support services.
Mental health provision in the Humber region is being extended, but to make sure the service provides what parents need, when they need it, local NHS organisations are looking for input from people who have experienced mental health issues during the perinatal period.
The perinatal period lasts from pregnancy to roughly a year after the birth of a child.
Parents who want to share their views and thoughts on how the service can be developed can attend a public event on Friday 7 September, 2018 at the Orchard Centre on Orchard Park Road.
The event will run from 10.30am to 1pm and is open to anyone who has experiences they would like to share about this issue.
