The 2019 NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Annual General Meeting will take place against the inspiring backdrop of Hull’s Ferens Art Gallery on 10 July.

The meeting looks to the future and will have as its theme the long term plan for the NHS and the important question ‘What matters to You?'

There will be presentations from the CCG’s Chief Officer, Chief Financial Officer and the Chair of the Board, followed by a public question time session.

Dr Dan Roper, Chair of Hull CCG, commented:
“As clinicians we have areas of health care we would like to improve or streamline but what do you think are the main health and social care issues for the city and its people? What should the NHS be working with partners and the public to focus on?”

The AGM also reflects on the last twelve months in local healthcare; in which the CCG has been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating for the second year running. There will be the formal presentation of the CCG’s Annual Accounts for 2018-19 and a chance for attendees to pose their healthcare questions to a panel of Hull’s health leaders.

Dr Roper, added:
“This an opportunity for us to share the stories of local people and highlight what makes us different in our approach to creating a healthier Hull. We are delighted to mark the first year of the Jean Bishop Integrated Care Centre - where over 2000 patients in Hull have received a comprehensive geriatric assessment and we will showcase other successful collaborations with people, public services and community organisations in Hull.”

The AGM will be held on Wednesday 10 July at the Ferens Art Gallery on Queen Victoria Square, Hull from 5.30pm – 8.00 pm with formal presentations from 6.00 pm – 7.00 pm.
