Emma Latimer, Chief Officer, Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has signed the Time to Change Employer Pledge as a commitment to changing the way mental health is thought about in the workplace.
The CCG joins 42 local organisations who have now signed the Time to Change Employer Pledge which focuses on stamping out discrimination in the workplace around poor mental health, improving attitudes and behaviour in the workplace and ensuring fewer people experience discrimination in the workplace.
The Hull CCG already goes a long way to support its workforce with its established Health and Wellbeing Group and mental health champions, however, the pledge further supports the CCG to put in place best-practice interventions and policy to help staff work in ways that promote positive mental wellbeing.
