From 1 July 2022, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) will be dissolved, and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) will take over the responsibility for NHS functions and budgets. Hull and East Riding residents are being reminded which NHS services are available to them this bank holiday on Monday 31 August 2020.

If you need medical help, the NHS is here for you - Urgent Treatment Centres (UTC), out of hours GP services and some pharmacies across Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire will remain open. GP practices and most pharmacies will be closed on the bank holiday.

Don’t forget to check your medicine supply for over-the-counter remedies, and make sure you order any required repeat prescriptions in good time.

Some pharmacies will be open on Bank Holiday Monday to ensure you can access services if absolutely necessary. You can find the latest pharmacy bank holiday opening hours across Hull here and East Riding of Yorkshire here. These times are subject to change so please call your pharmacy first before you attend.

If you need to access GP services on Bank Holiday Monday, routine appointments are available through access+ in Hull and Improving Access in the East Riding.

Should you need urgent medical help please visit NHS 111 online www.nhs.uk/111. If you cannot get online, you can dial 111.
