The Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire Children's Neurodiversity Service launched on 14 March 2022, within a ‘proof-of-concept’ period to 31 March 2023. We would like to hear about the views and experiences of children, young people with neurodiverse needs and their parents/carers, and staff who work to support them during this initial period.
We would like to hear about your experience of the service so far, and if you would like to be involved in wider discussions and the first Stakeholder Service Review Session by completing one of the following surveys:
-
If you are a parent/carer, please click here.
-
If you are a member of staff that supports children and young people with neurodiverse needs and their family, please click here.
What is a ‘proof-of-concept’ period?
The aim of the ‘proof of concept’ period is to review and refine the new service based on the engagement, participation, and feedback from all stakeholders, with a focus on children and young people with neurodiverse needs and their parents/carers who use the service. The review also includes engagement, participation, and feedback from staff who provide services to children and young people with neurodiverse needs and their families.
How can you get involved?
To support this period of learning there are several ways you can get involved:
- Surveys - to share your experience so far (please see above)
- Discussion groups - to discuss your experience so far
- Stakeholder Service Review Sessions (quarterly) - to provide updates, share experiences, and find solutions to challenges together.
The first stakeholder review session will be held virtually on Tuesday 24 May 2022, 10:00 – 12:00. Your response is voluntary and anonymous, and the survey should take 10 minutes to complete.
