From 1 July 2022, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) will be dissolved, and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) will take over the responsibility for NHS functions and budgets. We will become part of NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB. You can continue to use this website to find the information you need, which remains relevant for the Hull area.

A website, launched this week, will support children and young people who have a learning disability or special educational need (SEN).

The site – Hull’s Local Offer – is filled with advice and links to a range of services including education, activities, health, social care and parental support.

It’s a simple way for SEN families and young people between the ages of 0-25, as well as professionals, to find information and local services.

Following an extensive consultation, the website was redesigned to offer a one-stop source of information that is accessible and user-friendly.

Councillor Phil Webster, Portfolio Holder for learning, skills and safeguarding children, said:

“There is a wealth of support available across the city for children and young people with disabilities and special educational needs, and we are delighted that we can re-launch a fresh, new platform that hosts all this information in one place.

“Not only do we want residents to use Hull’s Local Offer as a first point of reference for these specialist services, but also those professionals who work closely with these families across the education, health and social care sectors.”

The website will provide information on available resources in the city, including:

Early Years 0-5 years
Becoming an adult
Health & wellbeing
Equipment
Transport
Leisure
Social care
Support and advice services
Finance
