NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) next week, and it is extending an invitation to patients and the public to join them online as the meeting takes place virtually for the first time.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the CCG will not be holding the meeting in a public venue this year as it normally would, but instead will live stream the event through its Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Erica Daley, Chief Operating Officer, said: “In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have taken the decision to hold this year’s AGM virtually. This will not only help us to keep people safe, it will also allow a larger audience to attend and remove the need for travel.
Whilst the format may be different, the agenda will be familiar. We will look back on improvements in patient care in Hull during 2019-20, before discussing the future and the challenges it will bring, including the response and recovery to Covid-19. We will also present our Annual Accounts for 2019-20, with a focus on how and where our budget was spent.
As per previous years, we will finish with a question and answers session where your questions will be put to our panel. We hope you can join us.
Due to the way the event is being held this year, all questions must be submitted in advance via direct message on social media, emailed to Hullccg.contactus@nhs.net or via telephone: 01482 344700.
NHS Hull CCG’s AGM is set to be streamed via its Facebook page (www.facebook.com/NHSHullCCG/live) and YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/channel/UCAdZCy_0zj6Jb0ddbnj_IXg) on Wednesday 30 September 2020 from 5:30pm.
