NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Big Lottery funded, In the Pink, is Fitmums and Friends practical answer to helping struggling men and women access fitness, and get their emotional health in check.
In the Pink, meaning being in the very best of health, is a scheme that can support anyone to access any of the current Fitmums and Friends activity sessions. Attending one of the sessions can have a great impact on both your physical and emotional wellbeing, but it isn’t always easy to take those first steps through the door. In the Pink joins those who need it up with a volunteer supporter, who helps them to get to that first, second and third session, get settled in and start reaping the benefits of regular exercise, support and friendly environment.
In the Pink is completely free and open to anyone living in Hull or the East Riding.
Fitmums and Friends are on the look out for someone to help with the promotion of In the Pink, especially to hard to reach groups of women in Hull. If you think you can help pledge your support here.
